Siberian is an heirloom that was brought to the U.S. from Russia in 1975.
This one is capable of setting fruit at 40 degrees.
The 2 to 3 inch red fruits are borne in clusters of 30 or more.
Plants are very short but still require staking.
While some descriptions claim that Siberian will produce fruit in 48 days,
I have never had them quite this early.
Mine are usually in the 55 to 60 day range.
55 days isn't too long to wait.
