Italian Pepperoncini is a wonderful sweet pepper coming to us from Tuscany.
They are called friggatello in Italy.
The 1 x 4 inch fruits are slightly wrinkled and turn dark red when fully ripe.
The plants grow 30 inches tall and should be staked due to the amazing production.
Pepperoncini is best for canning when they are still green.
These are usually pickled, but when they turn red they are delicious roasted, stuffed or fresh in salads.
Good market choice. Very high in Vitamin 'C'. Excellent yields.
If you sell at Farmers Markets your customers will want them green.
