Pimento is a gorgeous sweet pepper coming to us from Portugal.
The 4 x 3.5 inch fruits are wonderfully heart shaped and turn bright red when fully ripe.
The sweetest of all the pepper varieties.
The plants grow 30 inches tall and they should be staked due to the weight of the fruits.
Pimento is resistant to Tobacco Mosaic Virus.
Good roasted, stuffed or fresh in salads.
Good market choice. Very high in Vitamin 'C'.
